Yangling Agricultural Hi-tech Industries Demonstration Zone (Yangling in short ), the unique state agricultural hi-tech industries demonstration zone in China, is the congery of China’s agricultural sci-tech and a significant base for the demonstration of agricultural industries. The famous North-west Agricultural and Forestry Sci-tech University is located here.
  Yangling is jointly constructed by 19 ministries (commissions or state bureaus) and Shaanxi Provincial Government, who has a provincial construction team consisting of 34 provincial bureaus. The Administrative Committee of Yangling is authorized with the prefecture-level power in administrative affairs, provincial level power in economic management and limited provincial power in administrative affairs. It also enjoys various preferential policies for state hi-tech development zones and West China development, as well as policies to support national agricultural development.
