   Jointly sponsored by 16 ministries including the Ministry of Science &Technology the Ministry of Commerce£¬and Shaanxi Provincial Government£¬and co-sponsored by UNESCO£¬China Yangling Agricultural Hi-tech Fair(CAF)is one of the four major sci-tech fairs in China gaining special support from the government. Giving Prominence to high technology and industrialization CAF has become one of China¡¯s four major national hi-tech fairs and enjoys the same reputation as Beijing Sci¡ªtech Exhibition Shenzhen Hi-tech Trade Fair and Shanghai Industrial Exhibition Hence it is reputed as the Olympics in Chinese agricultural sci-tech fields.

Agricultural High-Tech Fair

 Since 1994 ,twelve sessions of CAF have been successfully held in Yangling , which attracted participants not only from all over China but also from over 30 countries and regions like America, France, Japan etc Admissions to the fair totaled about 83 million, composed of farmers as well as agricultural companies, research and education institutions£¬and agencies.

The latest four sessions in particular£¬appealed to more than 1 million person-times of participants .The total amount of project investment£¬trade of technology and products exceeded 100 billion RMB. Over 330,000 person-times of people obtained various training and consulting in apolied technology£®Serving as a platform, CAF makes it possible for large quantities of agricultural hi-tech achievements to have been transferred, and many practical techniques popularized. Information about new technologies, human resources£¬assets, goods and materials is widely disseminated, with a combination of technical£¬financial and intellectual resources.
